"Fantastic location in the heart of the old city. Very comfortable, good shower and bed. The kitchen was a bit small but we weren’t cooking big or complicated meals so worked fine. The balcony was a real plus."

"The external door and entryway were not great - the lock worked but was missing parts, and both the external door and the door to the apartment were not particularly easy to open. Having said that we felt safe. Also the external entryway was not clean."

"Great central location, right in the heart of old Aix, but the apartment is very quiet. Super comfy sofa and bed, beautifully decorated. Terrace was a real bonus."

"A point about the entrance area, as some other commenters have complained about this. The entrance is at the end of a small alley, which also appears to serve the back entrances to the kitchens of some surrounding restaurants. Whilst it's not the best first impression, it really isn't a problem, and we found it to be fine. There are quite a few residences that access off this alley, and the system is that rubbish bags are left at the end of the alley for collection, which seems to be twice daily (which is why there appear to be complaints of rubbish - it's not neglect, just life). So, don't be put off. One small point, the kitchen equipment is a little limited if you want to cook with the amazing produce from the local markets. I would suggest a wider selection of utensils, e.g. a grater and knife sharpener (or better knives), would have come in very handy."

"Fabulous location. Don’t be fooled by the lane way leading to the door and the staircase leading up to the apartment door. Inside is a very well appointed apartment with its own outside eating area. The apartment is a very short distance to one of the central squares of old Aix where there are restaurants, etc."

"What a fantastic property- it’s well decorated, very stylish with a gorgeous terrace. It’s right in the centre of Aix and so close to everything. Well equipped kitchen. Air con in lounge and a great, quiet fan in the bedroom. Lovely bathroom and linen etc we were a family of four- 7 & 9yr old! The sofa bed was really big and comfortable."
